Why I Wrote This Book

After decades of caring for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and cognitive decline, Dr. Frank became increasingly convinced that prevention must begin years — even decades — before symptoms appear.
Prevent Alzheimer’s Dementia in Seven Easy Steps was created to translate complex neuroscience and longevity research into practical daily strategies people can actually use.
A Unique Perspective on Brain Health
Dr. Frank earned his Master of Public Health (MPH) from Yale University School of Public Health and his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. This uncommon combination of clinical medicine, public health, neuroscience, and strategic systems thinking has shaped his approach to Alzheimer’s prevention and cognitive longevity.
Rather than viewing dementia solely as a late-stage neurological disease, Dr. Frank emphasizes the decades-long interaction between metabolism, vascular health, inflammation, sleep, exercise, stress, nutrition, and lifestyle behaviors that influence long-term brain performance.
His work focuses on evidence-based strategies to reduce cognitive decline risk and promote lifelong brain health through nutrition, sleep, exercise, metabolic health, and emerging neuroscience.
The Mission
Dr. Frank believes that protecting brain health should begin decades before memory loss appears. His mission is to help people understand the science of cognitive longevity and apply practical, evidence-based strategies that support lifelong mental clarity, independence, and quality of life.
Through PreventAlzheimersDementia.com, Dr. Frank translates rapidly evolving neuroscience into actionable guidance focused on prevention, resilience, and healthy aging.
